Higugma sa Isla
The image above is a prototype I was working on a few years ago. I never got to finish it because it got accidentally squished by the hubby, so I got discouraged. Grrr Marco. Haha. 😅 I made it after a trip to Sipalay, where we got to do nature study in the shallows.Â
I wrote then, "Just standing there in low tide, with water just up to our ankles, we could see sea urchins, anemones, brittle stars, some crayfish digging tunnels, a mysterious tentacle, and lots of fish! A quiet, unforgettable afternoon with the little girl.
Reminds me of a verse from Psalm 23, 'He leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul'."
I was thinking of these two photos above as we returned home from another awesome beach trip, using them as a jump off point for the new collection. Some snapshots from the quick getaway a few weeks ago:Â

Finally, the new collection is here.

Don't stray too far from the water, love
The sea calls out to you
I'll wait for you by the water, love
Sunkissed whispers still hold true
Higugma sa Isla - a collection of tropical earrings featuring charms bursting with the bounty of the sea and the islands, reminiscent of joyful trips to the beach with the ones we love. Memories of island hopping in Negros, snorkeling above coral reefs in Sipalay, and kayaking into the sunset in Laiya. Happy times, core memories. 🌅
These polymer clay jewelry are perfect for the upcoming beach getaway, or as a bright pick-me-up for everyday OOTD.
