What is polymer clay?
Polymer clay is an oven-baked material that you can mold or sculpt into anything under the sun. It comes in a rainbow of colors that you can mix into limitless possibilities! I like to think of it as colors you can touch - like light, but in solid form. From dainty beads, tiny figures, and delicate florals, to dramatic sculptures and art, it’s the dream medium for crafters and artists who love to create with their hands.
It’s soft and pliable when raw, then turns strong and durable after baking - perfect for jewelry, keepsakes, and works of art that last a lifetime.
I started working with polymer clay in 2002. My favorite things to make in those early years were miniature food jewelry. Roses and flowers reminiscent of fairytales became my next fixation. Then came the iconic Philippine bahay kubo and other Filipino motifs. So many themes to explore. I am looking forward to discovering what art adventures will tickle my fancy in the years to come.
