Hot Pink and Neon Orange Mokume gane dangling earrings

Interesting layers and patterns come together to create a color shift effect that looks 3D, but is actually quite flat. These polymer clay earrings were created using the borrowed art of Mokume Gane - a Japanese technique that fuses layers of metals to create woodgrain patterns. Here, layers of polymer clay were used instead.

Polymer clay charm is approximately 2.5cm x 1.5cm. The textured gold earring post is 1cm x 1cm. The entire earrings are 3.5cm long.
